The German Yngling Association - DYKV - would like to invite you to the 

German Open, 03 – 06 October 2024

This year the first German Open of the Yngling class Germany will take place, and we invite all sailors from near and far. The host and organizer is the Yacht Club Berlin Grünau (YCBG) in Berlin on Lake  Müggelsee. The host and sailing area are surely well known to many of you from the Worlds 2021. The YCBG is pleased to be able to host another major event with international participation for the Yngling class.

SCHEDULE

Registration:

October, 02nd, 2024, 05:00 p.m. – 07.00 p.m.
October, 03rd, 2024, 08.00 a.m. – 10.00 a.m.

Number of races: 8 Races are scheduled.

Skippers meeting: October 03rd ,2024, 11:00

Dates of scheduled racing: October 03rd to 05th, 2024

If fewer than 4 races have been completed up to and including Saturday, October 05th, 2024, the Sunday, October 06th, 2024 will be used as a spare day.

The scheduled time of the first warning signal for the first race is Thursday October 03rd, 2024 at 01:00 p.m.

If the spare day needs to be used for races, the Price giving ceremony will take place on Sunday October 06th, 2024 after the end of protest time limit or closure of possible hearings or Signal AP over Alpha.

FEES

Entry and bank transfer til and incl. September 16th, 2024:

Entry fee - Standard Entry    180 EUR (later than September 16th, 2024 = 250 EUR)
Entry fee Youth                    30 EUR
Support Boat                       70 EUR

The entry fee shall be transferred on the defined organizers account to validate the entry - see NoR.

German Yngling Class Association is supporting participation of Youth teams in this event.

Max number of entries 30 boats.
